2020 Annual General Meeting – November 7th

PNWORCA BOD Meeting

Join us for the PNWORCA Annual Meeting on Saturday, November 7, 2020

The PNWORCA Board of Directors consists of one (1) representative from each outrigger canoe club that is a member in good standing of the Association (2020 dues have been paid). All directors must be active members of a PNWORCA member club and are selected by the member club they represent.

Due to space limitations, PNWORCA Board of Directors Meetings (even virtual meetings) are limited to a maximum of 2 representatives per club (the designated director and one other club leadership member).

If the designated PNWORCA Director for your club has changed, please email the full name and email for your current director to secretary@pnworca.org.


Spring PNWORCA Board Of Directors Meeting

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting will be virtual. A link to a virtual Google Hangout meeting will be sent to all the BOD and Club Leadership ahead of the meeting.


Voting for the 2021/2022 PNWORCA Executive Board

At this annual meeting, we will be voting in the new 2021/2022 Executive Board which includes the positions of President, Vice President, Sgt. at Arms, Treasurer, Secretary and USAORCA Rep. We will also be voting in a new Race Chair position.

We are asking for nominations for these elections via the online nomination form below. All nominations must be a member, in good standing, of a PNWORCA member club. You may use this form to make as many nominations as you wish with each nomination submitted separately. You may nominate yourself.

Please submit your nomination(s) by Wednesday, November 4th at 6pm PST.

This deadline allows us to reach out to each nomination for acceptance/rejection ahead of the meeting on Saturday.

    1. At the general meeting, we will be voting in the new 2021/2022 Executive Board which includes the positions of President, Vice President, Sgt. at Arms, Treasurer, Secretary and USAORCA Rep. We will also be voting in a new Race Chair position. 

All nominations must be a member, in good standing, of a PNWORCA member club. Please use the official nomination form (https://pnworca.org/nominations/) to make as many nominations as you wish with each nomination submitted separately. You may nominate yourself. Please note that nominations for the Race Chair position must be a current member of the Race Committee.

Please submit your nomination(s) by Wednesday, November 4th at 6pm PST so that we may reach out to each nomination for acceptance/rejection ahead of the meeting. Nominations may be made on the floor at the general meeting for any member currently in attendance. Nominations for any member not currently in the meeting will not be accepted as the nominee is not virtually present to accept or reject the nomination. 

Virtual voting will be conducted via Google Form submissions. Because nominations can be made on the floor at the meeting, please be patient while we populate the form and send the link for official, confidential voting. The link to submit votes via Google Form will be sent in the chat window located in the Google Meet platform. Those BOD members that are dialing in will receive the link via email. Only one vote per club is allowed. Votes will be tallied, in real-time, during a short intermission and the results will be announced immediately.
